Pre-school group marks end of its first year with a party

A BICESTER pre-school enjoyed an exciting end-of-year party, which included games, dancing, a puppet show and a special guest. The King’s pre-school, which was only set up in January, is eagerly awaiting the results of its first OFSTED inspection.

The pre-school, which is based at the Bicester East Community Centre, in Keble Road, is run with support from the town’s churches with the aim of giving local children a Christian education. Itl has about 17 children who regularly attend the weekly sessions between Monday and Thursday.

Pastor Denis Niziol from the Bicester Elim Lighthouse Church, was invited along to the final day of term to play his guitar and entertain the children with a  puppet shown.

Deputy Supervisor, Carolyn Morris said “The first seven months has been great fun, but not without its challenges. We have really enjoyed getting to know all the children and their families and seeing the children grow and develop.
